Determine the user's role. This will define the set of security roles needed for the user.

  • Inspectors - Resources which are typically similar to contractors
    • Intune deployment to mobile phone
      • Requires License: Microsoft Business Premium
    • Dynamics 365 Field Service
      • Requires License: Dynamics 365 Field Service
      • In CRM Power Platform Admin Center, navigate to Environments: https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/ > Settings > Users > Add User if not already in list
      • Once user shows in CRM, assign Inspector security roles 
        • Activity Feeds
        • Basic User
        • *EI Field Service - Resource
      • In XRM Toolbox - run the User Settings Utility
        • Create records = No
        • Show emails not tracked in Activities list = No
        • Records per page = 250
        • Time zone = Central (unless otherwise stated)
      • On User in CRM and in M365 admin center - add the teams phone number
      • Create user as Bookable Resource (April Rigney usually performs this step so confirm whether it needs to be done by us)
        • In CRM Field Service app, bottom left go to Resources 
          • Set work hours 7-7 every day
          • Set Time zone
          • Add home address
    • Teams Phone
  • Dispatcher
