- Audio Conference (Optional, but allows users to include dial-in information in meetings)

After acquiring and assigning licenses, navigate to Teams Admin Center (https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/)
- Acquire a Phone Number
- Expand Voice in the site navigation, then select Phone Numbers
- Check the list of numbers to see if there are any available, unassigned numbers
- Make sure that the Usage = User
- If not, select row then click Change Usage and select User from the dropdown
- If you need to acquire additional numbers:
- click + Add
- Name and Description Required
- Select Country
- Number Type = User (Subscriber)
- You can change the Type later so go ahead and get numbers in bulk
- Operator = Microsoft
- Enter Quantity
- Search for numbers by City, Area Code, or Postal Code
- City looks up addresses saved as Emergency Addresses, so I recommend trying the other two methods
- If you need the first 6 numbers to be a certain combo, reach out to Phone Number Support to request
- Click Next
- Review Numbers and click Place Order within 10 minutes if satisfied with numbers provided
- Otherwise, go Back and change settings to get a new set of numbers
- Check the list of numbers to see if there are any available, unassigned numbers
- Expand Voice in the site navigation, then select Phone Numbers
- Assign a phone number
- In Teams Admin Center navigate to Voice > Phone Numbers
- Select the phone number
- If necessary, Change Usage
- Click Edit, then begin typing users name under Assigned To and select the correct user
- The Emergency Location should be selected by default, but make changes as necessary
- Leave checked or uncheck box to send Phone Number details to end user
